Waiting On Wednesday (August 21)

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine, which spotlights upcoming releases that are eagerly anticipated.

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater is the second book in The Raven Cycle series, and has an expected publication date of September 17.

Now that the ley lines around Cabeswater have been woken, nothing for Ronan, Gansey, Blue, and Adam will be the same. Ronan, for one, is falling more and more deeply into his dreams, and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life. Meanwhile, some very sinister people are looking for some of the same pieces of the Cabeswater puzzle that Gansey is after…

loved The Raven Boys, so I can’t wait for The Dream Thieves. It ended with a huge revelation – and possibly the best finishing line ever – so I’m really excited to see where that news takes the boys (and Blue). And I’m really looking forward to more Blue/Gansey scenes because they’re kind of the cutest, even if they probably shouldn’t be doing any kissing any time soon…

What books are you waiting on this Wednesday? Leave me a list or a link to your post in the comments below. : )

  1. THE DREAM THIEVES!!!!! Sorry, I just get too excited about this book : D

So glad you loved The Raven Boys c: The revelation at the end was kind of painful considering the book ended and it was connected to my favorite raven boys (Ronan).

By the way… The Dream Thieves has been on NetGalley for weeks now… you probably know, but I felt like I should mention it in case you missed it ;D

    • I’m SO excited for this one, so I completely understand! : )

I’m glad you love it too! I know a lot of people who weren’t really that fond of it and I was awkwardly sitting there professing my love Gansey, haha. I was expecting the book to keep going after the revelation and then I was so sad that it was over!

I haven’t been on Netgalley in a while; I’m on a self-imposed ARC-requesting ban since I have a bunch to finish before school starts up again. I might just have to break it this one time though, since The Dream Thieves is totally worth it. Thanks for letting me know! 😀
